Kiss will perform a special acoustic show at San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino in Highland.
A week before Kiss will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame the band will stop by San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino in Highland for a rare acoustic show.
The glam rock band, famous for its bombastic stage shows of fire, blood and catchy rock songs played by makeup-wearing men in platform boots will roll into the casino on Thursday, April 3.
Billed as “Kiss: An Acoustic Evening and Stories with Kiss,” the show will feature the band sans makeup and telling stories along with the stripped-down, full band tunes, not unlike the “MTV Unplugged” episode the band filmed nearly 20 years ago.
The show will happen two days before the home opener of the LA Kiss, a new arena football team partially owned by band members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley.
The team will be the subject of an upcoming reality show on AMC and cameras will be at the April 3 concert.
Tickets are $65-$75 and go on sale Friday, Feb. 28 at 11 a.m. via Ticketmaster or at the box office at San Manuel. You must be 21 or older to attend the show. Visit www.sanmanuel.com for more information on the show.
Kiss will be inducted into the Rock Hall with a presentation in New York on April 10, but will not perform after there was a dispute over which members would perform at the induction ceremony.
