Seven KISS albums will be released as KISS SHM-CD's in Japan on March 20, 2013. Titles include "Unmasked", "The Elder", "Creatures Of The Night", "Lick It Up", "Revenge", "Carnival Of Souls" and "Psycho Circus".
The high quality format SHM-CD (Super High Material CD) has greater audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic.
Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the union of the two companies in research for LCD manufacturing, SHM-CD make is an improvement of transparency in the sensitive side of the disc, allowing a reading more accurate data on the CD player laser head. The SHM-CD format is fully compatible with standard CD players. "
