The classic rock powerhouse KISS will perform at 7:30 p.m. July 18 at the Prairie Capital Convention Center.

One of the hottest bands of the ’70s, KISS was known as much for its makeup and bombastic stage show as for its music. The group’s best-known hits include “Rock and Roll All Nite,” “Beth,” “Shout It Out Loud” and “Forever.”

“We’ve been trying to bring this show in for two-plus years,” PCCC general manager Brian Oaks said.

Tickets: $91 first 15 rows, $71 main floor and risers, $61 mezzanine, $51 balcony. They go on sale at 10 a.m. May 7 at the PCCC box office or through Ticketmaster, (800) 745-3000.
