Gene: "Visited Fort Hood in Texas. 350 square miles of proud Army. @shannonleetweed drove an Abrams tank!!! Full speed!!!
We spent a few days at Fort Hood, the largest military base in the free world. We went there to honor our troops.
At Ford Hood, we visited the USO, which does amazing work to make life a little easier for our Troops.
Proud to have met all these magnificent members of our Army. Tomorrow, our soldiers are deploying overseas. We will be there to honor them."

As said above thank you for supporting our troops My wife was in that crowd also, along with many of my friends. Being a soldier myself and deployed you have no idea the morale that you gave some of those soldiers they day they shipped out to go to war. thank you SPC Brown Aaron

My son Matt was the crew chief that Gene and Shannon arrived at Ft Hood in at the opening of "The Demon Salutes" He was the guy in the mask (which Gene autographed)thet jumps out of the chopper ahead of Gene. My Son was very excited about the whole thing.He is now in Iraq. I would like to get one of the pics that were taken with gene and my son during the taping.
