Gene Simmons Rich & Famous Expos

Gene Simmons.com
Gene Simmons updates us on his speaking engagement trip to Moncton, N.B.

Just got back from a Speaking Engagement in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. A very professional, young group of people, who have aspirations and ambitions far beyond their limitations. And, I have faith they will be moving up the ladder of success.

But getting there was an event in itself.
We woke up 4:45 AM, LA Time. Got to the airport in LA and... I realized I didn't bring my passport. I hopped back into the town car and went back to the house, picked up the passport and rushed back to the airport... Miraculously, the jet was held up for 10 min, and I was able to get on board on time.
We flew from LA to Toronto (no direct flights to Moncton) and... found out the Moncton Airport was shut down, due to weather.
So, at the Toronto airport, I was considering staying overnight and other options. But Shannon Tweed insisted we get on a small puddle jumper and hop over to Frederikton, which was about 150 miles from Moncton, and drive the rest of the way.
We did.

And in Frederikton, we met Brad Leblanc and his partner, who drove there to pick us up and drive directly to Casino New Brunswick, where the event took place.
The event was put on by the Momentum Group... led by the aforementioned 22 year old (!!!) named Brad Leblanc.

This 22 year old, had more chutzpah and business grit, than professionals I have met twice his age.
Miss Tweed came with me to the event... and a good time was had by all.

The day after the event, we promised to stay overnight and meet some VIPs the next day. And then we were planning on flying out, except that Moncton Airport delayed our flight by two hours. So we flew out at 10 pm, and landed in Toronto. Stayed overnight there, and then at the crack of dawn this morning, got on a jet from Toronto to LA.
Oh, and one more thing.
On the way into the hotel, while we were checking in, it became obvious people were aware we were staying there. So, of course the hotel fire alarm went off in the middle of the night.
There was no fire.
Someone wanted to get a look at us.
And how was your day?
We will be doing more of this, soon.
Meanwhile, kindly check out my other "Rich & Famous Expo" speaking engagements at the top of the page.
